Welcome to the online community page for the Reference Renaissance Conference!

The 2008 conference is over but this Ning site will remain active. A whopping 500+ librarians attendeded this event. Because of its popularity, BCR will host a second conference Summer 2010 so SAVE THE DATE!

You can visit the main symposium website at: http://www.bcr.org/referencerenaissance/

This Ning site will remain active. People may continue to communicate, post pics, add files and documents...whatever you choose!

These attendees will be blogging the conference:

Aspen Walker at lib(e)rary
Daniel Cornwall at Alaskan Librarian
Julie Strange at Strange Librarian
Lorena O'English at Interrupt Driven
Victoria Peterson at Emerging Librarian

Please let me know if you want your name and blog added to the list.

To Denver

To Denver.
From Pittsburgh, the airway was long, but the scenery in the sky was fantastic.

How many people are from Pittsburgh... How many people are from Japan... Are there any international participant?

Community Site

This community site is excellent.
I don't know American libraries conferences very well, but is this the first trial in this field? It is really interesting trial. I think I can use this idea in my country.

Ning. I haven't heard of this name before. The usability is very good. Good service.

Power Outage at BCR

BCR, the organization that is organizing the conference, is experiencing a power outage. I have no other information. I do not know the cause nor when the problem will be fixed. This is affecting their phones as well as all websites that are hosted there, including the conference website and AskColorado. I will up-date this Ning site as I receive information.
